MANILA, Philippines– Jio Jalalon officially joined TNT Tropang 5G after signing a contract on Saturday.

TNT offered the deal following Jalalon’s release from Titan Ultra, the group that took over the NorthPort franchise. Jalalon completed the signing with his agent, Danny Espiritu, and TNT team manager, Jojo Lastimosa, present.

Before joining TNT, Jalalon entered free agency when Titan Ultra chose not to renew his contract. TNT management expressed satisfaction with acquiring Jalalon, describing him as a strong addition to their roster.

Team manager Jojo Lastimosa said Jalalon’s experience and energy would boost the team’s performance.

“Jio brings leadership and toughness that fit our system. We’re confident he’ll make an immediate impact,” Lastimosa said.

Jalalon shared his excitement about joining TNT, stating, “I’m grateful for this opportunity and ready to give my best for the team.”

TNT aims to maximize Jalalon’s playmaking skills as part of its strategy for the upcoming PBA season. The move signals the team’s commitment to building a competitive lineup.

Jalalon’s transfer marks a new chapter in his professional basketball career and stands as one of the notable developments in the PBA offseason.
