MANILA, Philippines– Scottie Thompson, guard for Barangay Ginebra, reached a major milestone this PBA season and entered the PBA’s 1,000-offensive rebound club.

Only a few players—mostly frontcourt standouts such as Ramon Fernandez, Philip Cezar, and Abet Guidaben—have achieved this feat.

PBA chief statistician Fidel Mangonon confirmed Thompson earned his fourth PBA Career Achievement Award this season, setting a league record.

Earlier in the season, Thompson secured his 2,000th career defensive rebound during Game 4 of the PBA Governors’ Cup.

Thompson continues to showcase relentless energy and rebounding skill, strengthening his reputation as one of the most complete and dependable players in the league.
