The drama “Good Boy” stars Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, and Lee Sang-yi as former national athletes who face setbacks and then become police officers through a special recruitment program.

Their characters’ sports backgrounds in boxing, shooting, and fencing influence their police work.

In a recent interview, the three actors discussed how the drama highlights rising from failure and embracing second chances. Kim So-hyun reflected on facing disappointment and emphasized the importance of perseverance, saying setbacks can inspire growth.

Kim’s character, Ji Han-na, a former shooter who struggles with public misunderstanding, helped Kim explore resilience and courage through acting.

Other actors, including Oh Jung-se, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok, portray members of the special police forces unit.

Although they play intense and angsty roles on screen, the actors showed professionalism and warmth during the interview.
