Manny will run as an administration candidate under the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas. Bobby is announced as the second nominee for the 1-Pacman party-list, which has shown a strong performance in past elections.
Sports entrepreneur Milka Romero is set to lead the 1-Pacman party-list. She takes over from her father, Mikee Romero, who served three terms as the party-list representative. Under his leadership, the party succeeded in enacting 144 laws aimed at improving the lives of Filipinos. In a statement released on Tuesday, Manny Pacquiao expressed his optimism for the future, citing 2025 as a pivotal year for his career in public service. “There’s new hope for the country this New Year. I see 2025 as an opportunity for me to continue my service to the country,” he said in Filipino.
Alongside the political ambitions, Manny Pacquiao anticipates his induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in June. This honor will see him join fellow boxing icons, including Floyd Mayweather Jr., marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
