AUSTIN, Texas — The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas (PACCTX) participated in the Asia x Austin Summit 2026, hosted by the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) and supported by strategic partner National ACE.
The event, held March 17 at the Long Center for the Performing Arts, featured remarks from Consul General Gunther Emil Sales of the Philippine Consulate in Houston. Sales highlighted the Philippines’ competitive advantages and underscored the Filipino American community’s pivotal role as a cultural bridge in Texas, turning business engagements into lasting partnerships.
PACCTX acknowledged GAACC President and CEO Mark Duval for organizing a summit that brought together international delegates, tech founders, and civic leaders to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Austin and Asia.
The chamber’s participation reflects its ongoing efforts to expand Filipino-American business networks and promote cross-cultural collaboration in Texas.
