HOUSTON — The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas (PACCTX) successfully held its “Celebrating Women, Inspiring Change (CWIC) 2026” events across multiple chapters statewide, bringing together women leaders and community members for a day of empowerment, learning, and collaboration.

Carrying the theme “A Journey from Classroom to C-Suite,” the initiative highlighted women’s leadership, resilience, and impact through a series of engaging discussions and activities designed to inspire the next generation of leaders.

In the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth (GDFW) area, participants gathered at Emvision Dallas, where Atty. Elaine Antonio Bordeaux shared insights on leadership, resilience, and navigating the path to professional success.

Meanwhile, the Greater Houston Region (GHR) hosted its celebration at Seafood City in Sugar Land, featuring interactive and wellness-focused activities. Attendees took part in a cooking demonstration by Raquel Harris, a painting session led by Alde Christopher, and a wellness session with Master Chi, Jun Yi Yang—bringing together creativity, culture, and empowerment.

In the Rio Grande Valley (RGV), participants convened at Salad Master in Edinburg to hear from Atty. Joy Hollified and Atty. Iliana Villalobos, who shared their professional journeys and experiences in leadership.

San Antonio’s program featured distinguished speakers including Dr. Danet Bluhm, Dr. Adriana Garcia, Janie Gonzalez, and Dr. Lynne Lucena. The event also included a local panel discussion with Janeisha Grider, Allie Perez, and Jenny Sims, highlighting real stories of growth from the classroom to executive leadership roles.

In Austin, the chapter hosted Dr. Mona Gaw, who provided valuable insights on leadership, professional development, and empowering women to lead with confidence.

Organizers said the CWIC 2026 series underscored the power of community, mentorship, and shared experiences in shaping leadership journeys.

“Because of your passion. Because of your vision. Because of your leadership. The journey continues,” the group said in a statement.

The multi-city event was also streamed live through Lawin Media Network, allowing a wider audience to take part in the celebration.
