Dallas, TX — September 26, 2025 — The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce Texas Region 1–Dallas Fort Worth (PACCTX-DFW) hosted its highly anticipated NEXUS 2025 event at Dallas College’s Brookhaven Performance Hall, drawing entrepreneurs, professionals, and community members for a full day of learning, networking, and inspiration.

Themed “The Future of Business: The Importance and Benefits of Being Certified,” the event featured exhibits, breakout sessions, and a dynamic panel discussion on certification and business growth.

Panelists included Margo Posey of the DFW Minority Supplier Development Council, Angela Alexander of the North Texas Regional Certification Agency, and Bridget Moon of the SBA–DFW region, with Denita Lacking-Quinn serving as moderator.

Participants gathered for a keynote address from Irv Ashford, a proclamation presented through State Representative Cassandra Hernandez, and recognition awards that honored business excellence and community partnership.

Breakout sessions delivered practical knowledge. PACCTX State President Atty. Aileen Ligot Dizon shared insights on legalizing startups, Joyce Garcia discussed professional presence and branding, and Samantha Sanchez highlighted career readiness strategies.

A second set of sessions focused on business contracting, event planning, and supplier diversity, with resource speakers from DISD, Dallas College, and Parkland Health.

Entrepreneurs and small business owners left equipped with actionable strategies to advance their ventures. PACCTX-DFW leaders expressed gratitude to sponsors, exhibitors, and volunteers who made the event successful.

During the closing program, Event Chair Gal Jumaos announced upcoming PACCTX activities, including the PACCTX Gala in Austin (October 24, 2025), the Bootcamp in Dallas (November 15, 2025), and the Community Appreciation Night and Christmas Party (December 5, 2025).

The NEXUS 2025 conference reinforced PACCTX’s mission to empower the community through knowledge, certification, and connections that transform visions into thriving businesses.
