The Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce Texas (PACCTX) is staging its premier annual celebration — the Legends and Leaders Gala 2025 — on Friday, October 24, at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock.
Presented under the leadership of PACCTX State President Atty. Aileen Ligot-Dizon and hosted by the PACCTX Austin Region chaired by Joyce Garcia, the gala will spotlight Filipino-American excellence in business, public service, and community leadership. The event will run from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. and will stream live on Lawin Media Network.
Michelle Neal, founder of Malaya Supplements and an Austin-area realtor, together with Cheryl Piccio-Echols, Texas correspondent of The Filipino Channel (TFC), will serve as masters of ceremonies. Gene Irisari, public affairs head for semiconductor policy at Samsung Electronics America, will deliver the keynote address. San Antonio Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones will appear as honored guest.

Headliner Dessa will deliver a special performance, with additional sets from On the Flip Side, Nar Calico, and dancers from the University of Texas Filipino Student Association.
PACCTX describes the gala as a tribute to leadership, integrity, and service, in line with its mission to connect, inspire, and empower Filipino-American professionals while strengthening ties between the United States and the Philippines. The 2025 theme — Where Legends Inspire and Leaders Unite — reflects the chamber’s call to celebrate legacy while cultivating the next generation of community builders.
