Roughly 2 million people attended the State Fair of Texas this year, reflecting a decline of about 400,000 visitors compared to 2024. Last year’s figure reached 2,385,855. The latest attendance ranks among the lowest in the past ten years.
The fair ran for 24 days at Fair Park in Dallas, its long-time home. Crowds explored the usual mix of attractions, rides, games, exhibits, and signature food offerings.
Despite fewer visitors, the event delivered notable results. Organizers reported donations totaling 153,000 pounds of food and sales of more than 550,000 Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs. These figures signal sustained engagement and loyalty from attendees.
The State Fair of Texas remains a major cultural fixture. Livestock shows, art exhibits, and live performances were featured across the grounds. Carnival rides and contests continued to draw families, students, and tourists.
