Ogie Diaz said he remains open to managing Liza Soberano again, but only if it aligns with her wishes. In a recent interview on the Rated R: The Rico Hizon Podcast, he emphasized that any decision would start with Liza’s input.

“Alam mo ang daming nagtatanong sa akin niyan… Ang lagi kong sagot, let’s see, kasi unang-una gusto ba ni Liza? Dun ako manggagaling eh,” he said. Diaz added that if Liza wants to work together again, they would need to discuss her career direction, including what to change and what to preserve for her fans.

He also voiced support for her Hollywood ambitions, praising her enduring talent and appearance. “Mukhang lang niya ang ganda-ganda, hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin nagbabago, ang ganda pa rin ni Liza, di ba?” he said.

Diaz expressed happiness over reconnecting with Liza after she replied to his birthday message in January, marking their first communication in three years since their professional relationship ended in 2022. He described their interaction as a “baby step” and hoped to see her in person soon.

Reflecting on their history, Diaz said there are no lingering hard feelings, calling Liza “once upon a time, naging anak mo,” and noting that she had helped him build a meaningful career. He remains hopeful for a future meeting, even if it’s off-camera and informal.

In short, Ogie is open to managing Liza again, but only if she initiates it and their goals align. Their recent reconnection suggests goodwill and mutual respect remain intact.
