MANILA, Philippines– The Department of Justice (DOJ) in the Philippines is currently determining the most effective legal approach against former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, who is reportedly evading human trafficking charges overseas.

DOJ spokesperson Mico Clavano confirmed the department’s ongoing effort to prepare necessary documentation to request a red notice from the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) for Roque’s arrest.

The DOJ has not yet contacted Interpol regarding the red notice, as per Clavano’s recent statement.

The charges against Roque are related to allegations of human trafficking.

DOJ authorities have indicated the possibility of pursuing various international legal measures to address this issue.
