MANILA, Philippines– Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla announced Thursday, Oct. 2, that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has not issued an arrest warrant for Senator Bato dela Rosa.

He addressed the media during a press briefing in Manila, responding to speculation about possible charges tied to dela Rosa’s role in the war on drugs.

Remulla clarified that the government has not received formal communication from the ICC regarding any warrant. The announcement came as the ICC continues its investigation into alleged human rights violations linked to the Philippines’ anti-drug campaign.

He assured the public that the government remains alert to developments in international legal proceedings and will share any updates as they arise.
