Nike announced Monday the upcoming release of the Zoom GT Cut 1 “Unseen Hours,” a player-exclusive sneaker for college basketball guard Dylan Harper in the United States.
The shoe belongs to Nike’s Greater Than (GT) series, designed for guards and wings who rely on speed, agility, and quick changes of direction. The “Unseen Hours” theme highlights the training players complete away from public view.
The Dylan Harper edition features a low-cut design, a layered mesh upper for breathability and containment, a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit, and a drop-in React foam midsole for cushioning and court feel. Nike added a wavy traction pattern on the outsole to enhance grip for lateral cuts and fast transitions.
The sneaker includes muted base tones with contrasting accents and personal detailing referencing Harper’s preparation habits. Nike placed “Unseen Hours” branding on select panels and the insole, along with Harper’s player-exclusive identifiers.
Nike will release the model through select channels and the Nike app in limited quantities, although the company has not announced a price point. The release continues Nike’s strategy of creating player-exclusive editions to showcase emerging basketball talent and generate interest among athletes and collectors.
The Zoom GT Cut line remains a performance-first platform for guards requiring low-to-the-ground cushioning and responsive support. Nike will monitor consumer and athlete response to inform future player-exclusive editions in the GT series.
Additional release details, including the exact launch date and participating retailers, will appear through Nike’s official communication channels.
