Frisco, Texas — Universal Studios will open the North Texas Universal Kids Theme Park in 2026, offering a family-focused attraction featuring seven themed areas based on popular movies and television shows.
The park will spotlight characters from DreamWorks Animation, including Shrek, Puss in Boots, Trolls, and Gabby’s Dollhouse. Fans of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Illumination’s Minions will also find dedicated areas, along with a Jurassic World-themed zone.
