The Pirates entered the game with a strong determination to improve their standing in the tournament. Both teams displayed intense competition throughout the game, keeping the score close. The focus was on securing a position in the coveted Final Four, making every point critical.

Entering the second half, Lyceum made adjustments to their gameplay. The team aimed to tighten their defense while seeking opportunities to capitalize on JRU’s mistakes. Barba’s performance stood out during these moments, as he managed to penetrate JRU’s defense and deliver crucial points.

The final quarter was a display of tenacity from both teams. Lyceum and JRU kept the spectators engaged with their back-and-forth battle for dominance. It was during this period that Barba’s scoring prowess shone. His ability to score under pressure was a key factor in Lyceum’s victory.

The Pirates’ bench also contributed to the team’s success. Players who were substituted in provided vital support when needed, helping maintain the team’s momentum. Coach of the Lyceum expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance, highlighting Barba’s leadership on the court.

JRU, despite the loss, exhibited commendable skill and teamwork. The Heavy Bombers pushed Lyceum to the limit, showcasing their potential to compete at a high level. JRU’s players and coaching staff took the loss as a learning experience, focusing on the positives and areas for improvement.
