SAN ANTONIO — Victor Wembanyama scored 31 points, collected 14 rebounds, and recorded six blocks on Sunday as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Brooklyn Nets 118–107 at home to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

The Spurs lost a 26-point lead in the game but recovered and secured the win. Rookie Dylan Harper added 20 points, including seven in the fourth quarter, to stop the Nets’ comeback attempt.

San Antonio’s defense held as Brooklyn failed to overtake the lead in the closing minutes. Wembanyama’s shot protection and Harper’s late scoring helped the Spurs reestablish control after the momentum shift.

The Nets attempted to rally after the early deficit but did not complete the turnaround. The victory improved the Spurs’ standing as they continue a strong run to open the season.
