The National Basketball Association announced that more than 60 million viewers in the United States watched nationally televised NBA games on NBC/Peacock, Amazon Prime Video, and ESPN during the first month of the 2024-2025 regular season.

The league said this total does not include the 2011-2012 season, which started on December 25. NBA officials said the figure covers all nationally televised regular-season games aired on the three networks and platforms during the first four weeks.

The NBA said it compiled the number using data from broadcast partners and industry ratings services.

NBC, Amazon, and ESPN carried national games, including contests featuring top teams and players. The league said the viewership includes live broadcasts and nationally measured same-day replays.

NBA officials said they will monitor audience trends through the regular season and provide periodic updates to teams and partners.
