SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama has returned to the court after recovering from surgery to treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in his right shoulder, a procedure that addressed a serious medical condition and allowed him to refocus on his NBA career.

Wembanyama, now listed at 7-foot-4 and 240 pounds, resumed training following a recovery period that included travel to China and a visit to the NASA Space Center. During his time away from competition, he focused on personal development and physical rehabilitation.

The surgery resolved a health concern that could have had long-term effects. With his recovery complete, Wembanyama rejoined the Spurs feeling healthier and more prepared for the upcoming season.
