CHARLOTTE, N.C. — LeBron James will practice with the G League’s South Bay Lakers this week as he prepares for his 23rd NBA season, Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick said Monday.
Redick made the announcement ahead of the Lakers’ game against the Charlotte Hornets, noting that the G League sessions are part of a plan to help James stay in peak condition throughout the season.
James, 40, continues to be a central figure in the Lakers’ roster, with the team emphasizing the use of all available resources to support his readiness.
