INGLEWOOD, California – James Harden made history by becoming one of only two NBA players to reach 3,000 career three-pointers, achieving this milestone during a standout performance in the Los Angeles Clippers’ 126-122 victory over the Denver Nuggets at the arena in Inglewood on Sunday night.

Harden, known for his exceptional shooting skills, managed to hit six three-pointers during the game, three of which were achieved in the first half. This performance enabled him to join Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry as the only players in NBA history to reach this milestone. Curry, widely recognized as one of the greatest shooters in basketball, previously set the benchmark.

The game itself was a tightly contested affair, with both teams displaying impressive skills. The Clippers showed determination and resilience, managing to edge out the Nuggets in a thrilling finish. Harden’s ability to find the net from long range provided a crucial advantage for the Clippers, contributing significantly to their victory.

Harden’s achievement has been celebrated by fans and analysts alike, highlighting his consistent ability to perform at the highest level. This accomplishment not only cements his position as one of the premier shooters in the league but also underscores his role as a key player for the Clippers.

His journey to this milestone has been characterized by dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. Throughout his career, Harden has been known for his scoring prowess, adaptability, and leadership on the court. These qualities have been pivotal in his success and continue to inspire basketball fans and aspiring players.

Steph Curry, the other player in this exclusive club, has been a long-time rival and contemporary of Harden. The two have often been compared in terms of their shooting abilities and contributions to their respective teams. Curry’s response to Harden reaching 3,000 three-pointers was positive, acknowledging the significance of the achievement and the skill required to reach such a number.

The NBA community has responded to Harden’s achievement with admiration, recognizing the dedication and talent required to maintain such a high standard of performance over a long career. Interviews with coaches and players from both teams after the game reflected respect for Harden’s abilities and his impact on the sport.

The Los Angeles Clippers, buoyed by Harden’s performance, continue to focus on their season goals. The team’s management expressed pride in Harden’s achievement, seeing it as a testament to his professionalism and skill. They are optimistic about the contributions he will continue to make as the season progresses.
