The Brooklyn Nets acquired guard Kobe Bufkin from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for cash considerations, as the teams announced on Tuesday.

Bufkin, drafted by Atlanta as the 15th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft from Michigan, has faced injuries, limiting his appearances to just 27 games.

In his time with the Hawks, Bufkin recorded an average of 5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

The trade marks a strategic move by the Nets to bolster their roster with potential while the Hawks opted for financial flexibility.
