Chris Paul will return to the Los Angeles Clippers wearing his iconic No. 3 jersey.
Bradley Beal, newly acquired by the Clippers, agreed to give Paul the number he has worn throughout his NBA career. Lawrence Frank, president of basketball operations for the Clippers, announced this decision.
Frank disclosed this information during a teleconference call on Tuesday. He revealed that Beal made the offer upon hearing of Paul’s potential return. Frank noted that Paul might still be unaware of Beal’s gesture.
