The Chicago Bulls announced Tuesday that they have signed guard Josh Giddey to a new multiyear deal. While the team did not reveal financial terms, reports indicated the contract is valued at $100 million over four years.
Standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing 214 pounds, Giddey was traded to Chicago from the Oklahoma City Thunder in June 2024. In his first season with the Bulls, he made an immediate impact, becoming one of just three NBA players—alongside LeBron James and Nikola Jokić—to record at least 1,002 points, 566 rebounds, and 503 assists.
Giddey averaged 14.6 points and a career-best 8.1 rebounds, while leading Chicago with 7.2 assists per game. Starting 69 of 70 contests, he joined Michael Jordan as the only Bulls players to average at least 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists in a season.
The 2021 sixth overall draft pick also recorded 30 double-doubles and seven triple-doubles, while hitting a career-high 105 three-pointers. His long-range shooting contributed to Chicago’s franchise record of 1,271 made three-pointers in a single season.
