Myanmar quake claims over 3,300 lives, state media reports

Myanmar authorities reported that the death toll from the recent earthquake has surpassed 3,300 as of Saturday, according to state media.

The earthquake occurred on March 28 in Myanmar, flattening buildings and destroying infrastructure across the nation.

Myanmar’s state media confirmed that the earthquake has resulted in 3,354 fatalities.

The United Nations aid chief has made a renewed appeal for international assistance to support the disaster-struck nation.

The earthquake has also left 4,508 individuals injured.

Government officials are working with international organizations to address the immediate needs of the affected population.

Authorities are focusing on providing medical care to the injured and shelter to the displaced.
