More Texas homes sold for $1 million or more from November 2024 to October 2025 than in any previous 12-month period, according to the 2025 Texas Sales of Million-Dollar Homes Report released by Texas Realtors in Austin, Texas, which detailed when the sales occurred, where the properties were located, who conducted the analysis, what price threshold defined the category and how the organization compiled the statewide data.

The report identified the total number of homes that sold at or above $1 million during the period and compared that figure with prior years to show how luxury home sales in Texas increased.

Texas Realtors compiled sales information from multiple listing services and other market data sources across the state to calculate the volume and value of million-dollar home transactions.

The report provided information on price distribution within the million-dollar segment, including how many homes sold closer to $1 million and how many sold at significantly higher price points.

Texas Realtors included year-over-year percentage changes in million-dollar home sales to show how the market shifted between the previous reporting period and November 2024 to October 2025.

The report outlined how broader economic conditions, mortgage rates and population growth in Texas coincided with the rise in million-dollar home transactions.

Texas Realtors also reported on the share of million-dollar sales compared with the overall number of residential transactions in the state during the same 12-month period.

The organization detailed regional differences in million-dollar home activity, including which Texas markets recorded the largest gains in sales of homes priced at $1 million or more.

Texas Realtors produced the 2025 Texas Sales of Million-Dollar Homes Report as part of its ongoing market research to inform industry professionals, policymakers and the public about trends in the state’s luxury housing sector.
