SEOUL, South Korea — South Korean girl group Momoland will return to the music scene in September, marking their first release since disbanding in January 2023.

The group’s agency confirmed the reunion and announced the upcoming release of new music.

This comeback will be Momoland’s first musical project since their last album in 2020. The group initially disbanded after members chose not to renew their contracts, opting to pursue solo careers. Since then, the members have been active in individual ventures across entertainment and media.

The agency has not yet disclosed specific details about the concept or tracklist of the comeback but confirmed that promotional activities—including performances on music shows and fan meetings—are planned.

Momoland rose to international fame with their 2018 hit single “BBoom BBoom” and originally debuted under MLD Entertainment in 2016.

The agency stated that further details about the release will be revealed in the coming weeks, including teasers and promotional content. Members are reportedly in preparation for the comeback, aiming to deliver fresh music while maintaining Momoland’s recognizable sound and energy.
