Dodgers break out of 18-inning drought to top Rays

Freddie Freeman led the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday in Tampa, Florida, ending the team’s 18-inning scoreless streak.

Freeman scored one run and drove in another, contributing significantly to the Dodgers’ win. Andy Pages hit a single off Mason Englert in the sixth inning, bringing in Freeman to score and extending Freeman’s on-base streak to 18 games.

Freeman also added an RBI single in the seventh inning, increasing the Dodgers’ lead to 2-0. Freeman achieved three hits during the game and accrued seven RBIs throughout the series.

The Dodgers clinched the series by winning two out of three games against the Rays.
