MANILA, Philippines- Police in Quezon City on Monday located a bride-to-be who went missing days before her scheduled wedding in Manila and began transporting her back under police supervision.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) officials said they coordinated with local law enforcement where the woman was found and positively identified her through personal identification and confirmation from her family.

Authorities launched the search after relatives filed a missing person report days before the ceremony. Officers followed leads, interviewed witnesses, and checked possible locations. Investigators also reviewed CCTV footage, mobile phone data, and social media activity to trace her movements.

Police coordinated with community leaders and other units to circulate information and assist in locating her. The woman’s identity was withheld to protect her privacy.

QCPD said they will escort her back to Manila for assessment and debriefing by investigators and social workers.
