Millie Bobby Brown celebrated the premiere of the final season of Stranger Things with a heartfelt Instagram tribute to the show and its creators, Matt and Ross Duffer.

Brown reflected on her eight-year journey portraying Eleven, a telekinetic girl, sharing photos of her younger and current self. She thanked the Duffer Brothers for giving her the opportunity to play the character and told fans, “Enjoy Volume 1, folks. See you on the right side up.”

Since its 2016 debut, the series has followed a group of kids in Hawkins, Indiana, confronting threats from the mysterious Upside Down. The show turned Brown and her young co-stars into international stars.

Brown’s performance earned multiple Emmy nominations and launched her Hollywood career, including roles in the Godzilla and Enola Holmes films.

Recently, Brown and co-star David Harbour appeared to put rumors of on-set tension to rest during the Los Angeles premiere. Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi also welcomed their first child via adoption in August.
