GREEN BAY, Wis. — Micah Parsons said he is progressing as expected in his recovery from a torn ACL suffered late in the 2025 NFL season, but did not provide a timeline for his return to play.

Parsons, who joined the Green Bay Packers in a trade from the Dallas Cowboys in August 2025, sustained the injury during the third quarter of a Week 15 game against the Denver Broncos. He underwent surgery approximately two weeks later.

In an interview with Action Network, Parsons said he is meeting expected recovery benchmarks about three months after surgery.

“Each day has its own strides and strengths to improve and get better,” Parsons said. “For anyone that’s about three months out of ACL, I’m about exactly where I should be.”

Parsons said his return to football activities will depend on how his rehabilitation progresses. He said he could not confirm whether he will be available for the start of the 2026 season.

“It really just depends on how each phase goes for me,” Parsons said. “The first three months went good, but I still have more steps in the process.”

Before the injury, Parsons recorded 12.5 sacks in 14 games and earned Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro honors. He also finished third in Defensive Player of the Year voting.

The Packers lost their final three regular-season games following Parsons’ injury and were eliminated in the Wild Card round by the Chicago Bears.

Parsons said his goal is to return at full performance level once medically cleared.
