Marcos urges PMA grads to serve with dignity, honor, love

MANILA, Philippines– President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. addressed the graduates of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Siklab-Laya Class of 2025 on Saturday, urging them to serve the country with dignity, honor, and love.

The graduation ceremony took place at Fort Del Pilar in Baguio City with Vice Adm. Caesar Bernard Valencia, the PMA superintendent, in attendance.

President Marcos paid tribute to the graduates’ families, acknowledging their role in instilling discipline in them.

He emphasized the importance of keeping their families in mind while serving in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Lieutenant Jessie Ticar Jr. emerged as the valedictorian of the class and is noted for his academic excellence as the fourth summa cum laude in PMA history.

The graduating class consists of 266 graduates, including 54 women, destined to serve in various branches of the Armed Forces.

Marcos addressed the significance of service with dignity, honoring the sacrifices of the graduates’ families.

He encouraged the graduates to carry their values into their military careers.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements and commitment of the PMA Siklab-Laya Class of 2025.
