MANILA, Philippines– President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. flagged 6,021 flood control projects worth ₱350 billion for lacking clear construction details.

He expressed concern over the lack of transparency and urged the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and other agencies to provide detailed plans and regular updates.

The projects aim to address flooding across various regions but risk delays and inefficiencies without proper documentation.

Marcos emphasized the need for accountability and efficient use of public funds amid growing public demand for transparency.

The government views these initiatives as crucial to disaster preparedness, economic growth, and climate resilience. The administration remains committed to improving governance and ensuring that infrastructure investments deliver real benefits.
