MANILA, Philippines — Former boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring on April 18 for a 10-round welterweight exhibition against former junior welterweight world champion Ruslan Provodnikov.
Pacquiao, 47, last fought on July 19, 2025, against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, ending in a majority draw. Two judges scored the fight a draw, while one gave Barrios a 115-113 victory, bringing Pacquiao’s record to 62-9-2.
“Returning to Las Vegas means so much to me, and I’m excited to work with a team focused on creating a world-class experience for the fans,” Pacquiao said in a statement. “I’m coming back to give them a great fight — and I’m ready.”
The fight will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, which previously hosted major bouts before newer arenas like MGM Grand Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena became the city’s primary venues for top matches.
Provodnikov, 42, has not fought since June 2016, when he lost to former unified light welterweight champion John Molina Jr. by unanimous decision.
