‘Liver King’ arrested in Austin over alleged threats to Joe Rogan

AUSTIN, Texas– Social media personality Brian Johnson, known as “Liver King,” was arrested Tuesday in Austin, Texas, after allegedly posting threatening videos targeting podcaster Joe Rogan.

Johnson was charged with making a terroristic threat, a class B misdemeanor under Texas law. The arrest followed a series of online videos in which Johnson allegedly challenged Rogan to a physical confrontation and made statements suggesting he was willing to risk harm.

Rogan reported the videos as threatening, noting he had no previous interaction with Johnson.

Johnson is a well-known social media figure who promotes what he calls an “ancestral lifestyle.” He has amassed a large following by sharing fitness content and advocating for natural living practices.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional charges have been announced at this time.
