Lea Salonga will perform as a featured singer at a special Hong Kong Disneyland event that will mark the theme park’s 20th anniversary, resort officials announced.
Hong Kong Disneyland said Salonga’s participation forms part of a series of activities that the park will hold to commemorate its 20th year of operations. The event will feature Salonga, who has long-standing ties with Disney through her work as the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in “Aladdin” and Fa Mulan in “Mulan.”
Salonga’s return to Hong Kong Disneyland will extend her record of performing at Disney parks and official Disney celebrations worldwide.
The resort’s management said it will release more details on the exact date, time, and format of the 20th anniversary show featuring Salonga as the event approaches.
