Kylie Padilla has made it clear that she is not ready to enter a new relationship, saying she wants to focus on her children and career for now. The actress, previously married to Aljur Abrenica (they separated in 2021), confirmed that she is currently single despite dating briefly in 2022.

Padilla shared on the premiere night of her new film The Lotto Winner that while she appreciates gifts from admirers, they know she is not ready for romance. Regarding Abrenica and his current partner AJ Raval, Padilla said she has no advice for them but is genuinely happy for the couple. She emphasized maintaining civility for the sake of her children and expressed that forgiveness is a process: “Just be mindful that the goal should be to forgive in the end… You can’t forgive if you harbor anger.”

The Lotto Winner centers on forgiveness, telling the story of Aia (Padilla), who moves to Australia with her uncle and aunt to rebuild her life after her father Louie (Albert Martinez) succumbs to gambling following her mother’s death. Years later, Aia becomes a nurse and mother to Phoebe (Sienna Stevens). Louie wins the lotto and seeks reconciliation, but faces a limited timeframe due to a rare autoimmune disease.

The film also features Robert Seña, Karina Bautista, Daniella Stranner, and Milo Elmido, and is directed by RC Delos Reyes.
