MANILA, Philippines — Netflix is kicking off its 2026 Korean content lineup with the new K-drama No Tail to Tell, starring Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon. The series promises “playful magic, quick banter, and heart-fluttering chemistry,” revolving around a single wish that spirals into unexpected chaos.

Hye-yoon plays Eun-ho, a cynical nine-tailed fox, or gumiho, from Myohyangsan Mountain who earns a living by granting wishes. In Korean folklore, a gumiho grows one tail for each good deed, and upon completing nine tails, becomes human.

Becoming human—or falling in love—is the last thing on Eun-ho’s mind, until an accident with Lomon’s Kang Si-yeol, a narcissistic but warm-hearted athlete, turns her human. A wish gone awry sparks a magical romance neither of them anticipated.

The story follows the pair as they navigate a love-hate relationship full of snappy dialogue, chaotic misunderstandings, and sparks neither can ignore. As supernatural elements collide with real-life emotions, they learn that the hardest rules to follow are often the ones their hearts break the most over.

Hye-yoon rose to fame in Sky Castle and has appeared in Extraordinary You, Snowdrop, and Lovely Runner. Lomon (Park Solomon) is known for All of Us Are Dead, Sweet Revenge, and Family Matters.

No Tail to Tell will begin streaming on Netflix on January 16, 2026.
