Vice President Kamala Harris has announced her intention to seek the Democratic nomination, backed by President Joe Biden’s historic endorsement. If successful, Harris could become the first Black woman and Asian American to lead a major political party’s ticket in the United States.
“I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination,” Harris stated in a released statement.
