Murder suspect in Jonathan Joss case freed on $200,000 bond

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A man accused in the fatal shooting of a television actor is now under house arrest after posting a $200,000 bond in San Antonio.

Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez was released from custody under judicial supervision following his arrest in connection with the death of actor Jonathan Joss.

Best known for his roles in King of the Hill and Parks and Recreation, Joss was fatally shot in an incident that remains under investigation by the San Antonio Police Department.

No other suspects have been identified, and authorities are continuing to collect evidence and witness accounts. Joss’s husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, has spoken publicly about his grief, remembering Joss as both a partner and a respected figure in the acting community.

Officials are asking anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
