MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez announced plans for a busy 2026, including a new album, a concert in Manila, and a possible Filipino-language song.

In an interview with ANC, Sanchez said she is collaborating with Filipino artists for her upcoming album. She also revealed plans for a concert at the Araneta Coliseum in May and confirmed she was invited by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to perform at the 48th ASEAN Leaders Summit the same month.

Sanchez reflected on her first visit to the Philippines in 2012, when she was the first runner-up on “American Idol,” noting the “intense” support she received from Filipino fans. She said her upcoming visit is meant as a way to give back to her supporters.

Sanchez also shared that her victory on the 20th season of “America’s Got Talent” came after a challenging period, including discovering her pregnancy shortly after committing to the show.

Her new album will follow her 2013 debut, Me, You & the Music, which included the track “Tonight,” a collaboration with Ne-Yo.
