MIAMI — Jake Paul confirmed early Saturday that he suffered a double jaw fracture during his sixth-round knockout loss to former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
Paul posted an X-ray on social media showing his jaw broken in two places. He reported the injury after the bout and shared the image as evidence.
Joshua secured the knockout in the sixth round of the scheduled fight. The bout, streamed as part of a Netflix boxing event, featured Joshua, a former unified heavyweight titleholder, against Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Medical staff evaluated Paul following the knockout before he publicly disclosed the diagnosis.
