Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso has directed the removal of redundant street signs throughout Manila.

In an episode of “Yorme’s Hour” aired on Friday, Moreno highlighted a post showing identical street signs with the same name.

Speaking in Filipino, the mayor said, “To our countrymen, that’s what we call spending government resources unnecessarily.”

Moreno also presented a report titled “Installation of Reflectorized Street Name Signages” across districts 1 to 6, which detailed the project’s cost at P39.9 million.

He clarified that the project did not commence under his administration, noting the contract was dated December 2024.
