Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at the Texas Capitol in Austin, as part of the Global Day of Action, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, sanctions on Israel, and an international arms embargo.

Organizers said the coordinated demonstrations aimed to pressure international leaders to support peace efforts and humanitarian relief.

Protesters in Austin carried signs and banners demanding an end to the violence and calling for negotiations that would include hostage and prisoner exchanges. Various pro-Palestinian groups and local community members organized the event.

Speakers at the rally emphasized the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and urged continued advocacy to maintain pressure on world leaders. Participants highlighted the importance of international solidarity and diplomatic action to secure lasting peace.

The Austin demonstration was one of many held across continents as part of the Global Day of Action for Gaza, which sought to draw attention to the impact of the conflict and promote collective global action toward resolution.
