Human trafficking probe leads to emergency closure of SA massage parlor

SAN ANTONIO, Texas– The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) shut down a massage parlor in San Antonio amid an investigation into suspected human trafficking.

This establishment, known as Sweetness Spa, is located on the city’s north side. The closure order became effective on April 22.

The TDLR took action after conducting an investigation that suggested possible human trafficking activities.

The investigation’s findings led authorities to intervene and close the business to halt further activities. The regulatory body issued an emergency shutdown, emphasizing the severity of the allegations.

State officials encourage the public to report suspicious activities to authorities.
