HOUSTON, Texas — Bush Intercontinental Airport plans to open a new international arrivals curb soon to reduce traffic congestion around the airport.

Officials say this change will coincide with the closure of the temporary Terminal E curb. The move will restore the airport’s original four-lane exit configuration.

By returning to the original four-lane exit, officials hope that traffic will move more smoothly and efficiently.

Officials believe these upgrades will help the airport manage increasing passenger volumes in the future. The opening of the new international arrivals curb is a key component of these modernization efforts.
