Bill Le, known online as “The Roadside Tech,” has captured widespread attention for assisting stranded drivers across Houston.

In a city known for heavy traffic, Le’s acts of kindness have become a viral sensation, reaching millions of viewers on TikTok.

Le’s journey into social media began unexpectedly. During a family trip to Miami, he purchased Ray-Ban camera glasses to record vacation moments. Later, he used the glasses to film a car unlock and shared the footage online at his sister’s suggestion.

“She said people love watching stuff like that,” Le recalled. “I started on YouTube and then switched to TikTok. I got monetized in less than four weeks.”

His videos quickly gained traction. One post showing Le helping a driver with a tilted car at a traffic light went viral overnight—reaching more than one million views by morning.

“I never thought helping someone change a tire would reach that many people,” Le said. That video has since surpassed 9.5 million views and inspired numerous comments praising his generosity.

Viewers frequently reach out to Le, expressing interest in helping others and asking what tools they need to start. “I’ve seen people make their own pages to do the same thing,” Le shared.

Le said his motivation is rooted in personal experience. “I do this because if my wife ever breaks down, I want someone to stop and help her,” he explained.

Through his videos, Le demonstrates basic automotive skills and promotes community spirit. “If more people just stopped for five minutes to help, this city would feel a lot smaller and a lot kinder,” he said.
