HOUSTON, Texas – The Philippine Consulate General in Houston is urging Filipinos across Texas to take necessary precautions as a winter snowstorm is forecasted to hit the region on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
In an official statement, the Consulate advised all residents to follow local government warnings and travel only when absolutely necessary during the storm.
The Consulate emphasized that public safety remains the top priority during this severe weather event.
Filipinos with scheduled appointments for passport services and dual citizenship oathtaking ceremonies during the snowstorm will have their appointments rescheduled. Affected individuals are encouraged to check their emails for further updates regarding the new dates.
