HOUSTON — Singer D4vd has canceled his U.S. tour amid an ongoing investigation into the death of a 15-year-old girl, whose body was discovered in his vehicle.

The girl’s decomposed remains were found in the trunk of D4vd’s Tesla, leading to the abrupt cancellation of his remaining performances, including those in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The investigation into the death of the teenager, identified as Celeste Rivas, continues. Police have not yet named any suspects in connection with her death. However, D4vd is reportedly cooperating with authorities as they look into the circumstances surrounding the girl’s disappearance and subsequent death.

Celeste Rivas was reported missing, leading to a search that ended with the discovery of her body in D4vd’s car. The vehicle was impounded by the police, and officers have said they responded to a report of a foul odor emanating from the car, which was parked at a tow yard.

The news of the investigation has affected D4vd’s planned tour schedule. His concert dates, notably those set for San Francisco and Los Angeles, have been removed from ticketing websites. Reports indicate that a ticketing website cited “unforeseen circumstances” for the cancellations.

The cancellation of the tour dates followed the discovery of Rivas’s body, found in a car registered to the singer. Authorities continue to investigate how the girl ended up in the vehicle and the cause of her death.

The investigation into the teenager’s death has gained significant media attention. The details regarding the decomposition of the body suggest the girl had been deceased for some time before her discovery. Police have not provided further details on when they believe the girl died or how long her body was in the vehicle.

As the investigation continues, police have urged the public to come forward with any information that may assist in their inquiries.
