Grand Prairie man, 26, charged with murder after deadly police chase

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — A 26-year-old gang member has been charged with murder following a deadly police chase on Saturday in Grand Prairie, Texas.

The suspect, Llonis Arevalo, crashed his vehicle into a stranded car, resulting in the death of the driver.

Arevalo was arrested on several charges, including murder, evading arrest causing death, resisting arrest, and collision causing death.

The suspect remains in custody, awaiting legal proceedings related to the charges. Prosecutors plan to pursue charges to the fullest extent of the law.

The identity of the victim has not been released, pending notification of the family. Authorities are offering support and resources to the victim’s loved ones during this difficult time.
