PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Pim Neill sold more than 75,000 boxes of Girl Scouts of the USA cookies across all 50 states by using social media to expand her customer base, according to Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania.

Neill promoted cookie sales through online outreach, which officials said helped her reach millions of viewers.

Luke Anorak-Neill, her father, said the effort has grown into a broader campaign to modernize sales methods. Mina Beach of Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania said the response to Neill’s sales has been unprecedented for the organization.

Neill said her next goal is to sell 100,000 boxes. Girl Scouts officials and her family said her achievement reflects strong support for the program.
